Embodied practice for driven professionals who need to sustain output, manage pressure, and perform without burning through themselves.

Understand your
balance.

You carry all three doshas: Vāta, Pitta, Kapha. Everyone does. They are the elemental forces that shape how your body holds tension, how your mind processes pressure, and how your system recovers. The one that shows up strongest is not who you are. It is where your system is working hardest to find balance. Take the quiz. Find out where to start.

Vāta

Ākāśa + Vāyu · Space & Air

Creative, quick, and energetically driven. When balanced: ideas in motion. When unbalanced: scattered, anxious, searching for stillness.

Pitta

Agni + Jala · Fire & Water

Focused, precise, and ambitious. When balanced: you accomplish what others only plan. When unbalanced: reactive, inflammatory, and relentless.

Kapha

Pṛthvī + Jala · Earth & Water

Patient, steady, and deeply nurturing. When balanced: the person others anchor to. When unbalanced: slow, resistant, and holding on longer than serves you.

Where this
practice
comes from.

I spent my early career inside Fortune 500 environments — highly visible roles supporting C-Suite executives, translating data into the strategy and operations decisions that moved entire business units. I was sharp, driven, and operating at pace. It taught me how high performers think, what they demand of themselves, and what they quietly sacrifice to keep performing.

A single vinyasa class reoriented everything. My instructor, deeply rooted in Vedic principles, showed me what yoga could be — not the version I had grown up dismissing, but something rigorous, intelligent, and alive. I knew immediately I wanted to teach. And I knew I needed to learn it properly — rooted in Eastern tradition, not a Western reinterpretation. So I went to Bali and earned my 500-hour RYT, studying classical sequencing, philosophy, and the kosha framework under teachers who carry the lineage. Maintaining the integrity of the practice has shaped every decision since.

I came back and built YUJ — a system that brings ancient precision to modern ambition. Spinal health research, fascia science, and nervous system regulation woven into a practice that honours where yoga comes from while serving the people who need it most: the ones who already know how to work hard and are ready for something deeper.

Yoga practice under a tree

Five koshas.
One system.

The koshas are an ancient map of the human system. YUJ uses all five as the architecture for practice, moving from the physical body through breath, mind, wisdom, and into the innermost layer of bliss and integration.

01

Annamaya

Body

Physical structure, posture, and the way stress lives in the tissues. The first place change is felt, and the last place most people look.

02

Prāṇamaya

Breath · Energy

The breath is the only system under both conscious and unconscious control. The bridge between the body and the mind.

03

Manomaya

Mind

The thinking, reacting, processing layer. Functional but rarely settled. Where most high performers are living, and where the loop runs.

04

Vijñānamaya

Wisdom

Discernment. The capacity to see the pattern clearly, not just react to it. The layer where real change becomes possible.

05

Ānandamaya

Bliss · Joy · Integration

The innermost kosha. Not transcendence but coherence. Joy, connection, and those glimpses of samādhi that come when the system stops fighting itself and becomes whole.
